About Allyn
Allyn Rose is a 22-year-old graduate of the University of Maryland, with a B.A. in Government and Politics with a minor concentration in Philosophy. She has an extensive history of working with philanthropic organizations, participating in events for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Best Buddies, Relay for Life, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, CARing Kids – a student mentorship program, USO Operation Care Package, the American Cancer Society and Service for Sight, her sorority, Delta Gamma’s foundation.
Currently pursing her career goal of becoming a lawyer, Allyn is a paralegal for two law firms in downtown Bethesda , MD. Allyn has already begun preparations for the Miss USA pageant and hopes to bring the crown home for the State of Maryland! (read Allyn’s complete bio)
About Kirsten
On October 31 st 2010 , Kirsten Nicholson, a 17 year-old from Sykesville, MD, won the title of Miss Maryland Teen USA 2011. She is a freshman at Stevenson University where she is enrolled in the Nursing program and enjoys being a part of her schools community service projects. Currently, Kirsten is a Certified Nursing Assistant who one day hopes to become a Registered Nurse and work in Pediatric Oncology. She loves working with children and helping others so she feels this will be the perfect job for her!
Kirsten is beyond excited to be the new Miss Maryland Teen USA. She is honored to hold this title and proud to represent her wonderful state of Maryland for a year. Kirsten is so thankful that she has such great friends and family to support her along the way! (read Kirsten’s complete bio)
